Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with Kairo. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued. If you have any questions, please contact our support team at kairolabshq@gmail.com.
1. Free Trial
All new Kairo accounts include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. During the trial, you have full access to the features of your chosen plan. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically move to the free tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
No charges are applied during the free trial, so no refund is necessary for trial cancellations.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your Kairo subscription at any time from your account settings under Billing → Cancel Subscription.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until then.
- We do not charge cancellation fees.
- After cancellation, your account reverts to a limited free-tier experience. Your data is retained for 90 days, after which it may be deleted.
3. Refund Eligibility
We offer refunds in the following circumstances:
- 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (New Subscribers): If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first charge for a full refund. This applies once per customer.
- Billing Errors: If you were charged an incorrect amount due to a technical error on our part, we will refund the difference promptly.
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period, we will refund all duplicate charges.
- Extended Service Outage: If Kairo experiences a verified service outage that renders the platform unusable for more than 24 consecutive hours, we will issue a prorated credit for the affected period.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not issued in the following cases:
- Cancellations made after the 30-day money-back guarantee window has passed
- Partial months — subscriptions are billed in full billing cycles and unused time is not refunded
- Accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service
- Annual plan renewals after 30 days of the renewal date (unless a billing error occurred)
- Requests citing non-use of the service during a paid period
- AI credits consumed during the billing period — these are non-refundable once used
5. Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are eligible for the 30-day money-back guarantee on the initial purchase. After 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable. If you downgrade from an annual plan to a monthly plan mid-cycle, you will retain access to the annual plan features until the end of your current annual period, with no partial refund issued for the remaining months.
6. Plan Downgrades and Upgrades
- Upgrades: When you upgrade to a higher plan, the new rate applies immediately and you receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of your current plan.
- Downgrades: When you downgrade to a lower plan, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. No refund is issued for the difference in the current period.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at kairolabshq@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include the email address associated with your Kairo account
- Briefly describe the reason for your refund request
We typically process refund requests within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
