Data Deletion Request
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Kairo is a social media scheduling platform. When you connect an account — such as a Facebook Page, Instagram Business account, or Threads profile — we store the data needed to publish on your behalf: access tokens, your public profile details, and the posts and media you create or schedule. This page explains how to delete that data.
Option 1 — Disconnect a social account
Disconnecting an account removes the data associated with that specific platform.
- Sign in to Kairo and open your workspace settings.
- Go to the connected social accounts section.
- Find the account you want to remove and select Disconnect.
When you disconnect an account, we delete the stored access and refresh tokens for that account and stop accessing it. Any data we obtained from that platform is deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
Option 2 — Delete your entire account and data
To delete your Kairo account and all associated data, email us at team@runkairo.com from the address on your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or compliance reasons (for example, billing records). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What data this covers
For each connected platform — including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads — a deletion request removes:
- Access tokens and refresh tokens used to publish on your behalf.
- Public profile information (such as account name, username, and avatar) retrieved from the platform.
- Posts, media, and analytics that Kairo stored for that account.
Confirmation
Once your request is processed, we will confirm by email that your data has been deleted. If you have any questions about a deletion request, contact us at team@runkairo.com.
